Managed Tagging

Neil Ellis Consulting is an HMRC-recognised supplier of iXBRL conversion services.

Our clients e-mail us their final statutory accounts in Microsoft Office format and we convert them into iXBRL format based on either minimum or full HMRC tagging requirements as they prefer.

We provide our clients with an iXBRL document, in the form of an html file containing XBRL tags. This file can then be submitted online with the company's corporation tax return.

Clients receive a personalised and highly professional service conducted by fully qualified chartered accountants in the UK. Unlike many other suppliers, our technical expertise enables us to take full responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of the XBRL tags we apply to your accounts.

  • Spot-check and audit activity to give reasonable levels of assurance

  • Test-filing iXBRL documents to provide assurance

We are familiar with most of the leading tagging software products and so can conduct these services on-site using your own software or, alternatively, we can use "viewer" software that enables us to view and check the iXBRL tags within documents you have produced.
