PLC Reporting - Financial reporting AIM listed construction group
We provided this acquisitive PLC with comprehensive support in the preparation of its Interim Report under IFRS. We project managed the preparation and production of the Interim Report, acting as a key link between the client, auditors and other advisers. As a result of our input, the results were signed off and released quickly and efficiently, despite the presence of significant technical issues arising from the recent economic downturn.
PLC Reporting - Fully listed support services group
We provided this PLC with regular consulting input on financial reporting, internal control and efficiency issues, having built up an excellent knowledge of its business through a long standing client relationship. Our work for this client was a mixture of hands-on involvement and technical review, supporting the development of the client own staff.
Management support - VC-backed technology start-up
For this high profile UK technology start-up, backed by US venture capital funds, we provided the financial input to its management team from incorporation through to the Series B funding, enabling the company to grow from 4 to 40 staff prior to the recruitment of its first CFO. We continued to provide financial reporting input as the company evolved further.
Management support - Major UK retailer
We provided financial management support to a major UK retailer through its refinancing and restructuring processes, working closely with a specialist turnaround team. The group assets were eventually disposed of and the business closed, obtaining the optimum return for the lenders. We played a central role throughout this process by providing accounting and financial management input that enabled a successful strategy to be implemented effectively.
Management support – Subsidiary of Japanese group
When a major Japanese group decided to close one of its UK subsidiaries, we provided a solution to deal with the accounting and other financial tasks necessary to prepare the company for solvent liquidation, enabling the process to be completed efficiently and effectively.
Financial reporting - UK subsidiaries of overseas group
We prepared UK GAAP statutory accounts for all the UK subsidiaries of a major overseas group, enabling management to focus their input on review. As part of this process we also liaise with the group auditors to make the process as efficient as possible. This solution enables the client’s own finance team to focus on business critical issues. We also provide this client with a constantly available sounding board for discussion of accounting issues and optimal accounting policies.
