Neil Ellis Consulting is an independent accountancy firm, focusing on financial reporting and financial management.
The firm was founded in 2002 and is regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Neil Ellis Consulting is an HMRC-recognised supplier of iXBRL services.
Neil Ellis BSc(Econ) ACA MBA
Neil Ellis is an independent chartered accountant of the highest calibre and founded the firm in 2002. He was previously a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen, where he was responsible for a portfolio of listed company audit clients, as well as a variety of transaction support services.
Neil was educated at the London School of Economics, where he obtained a first class degree in International Relations. He also holds an MBA from Manchester Business School. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the financial reporting faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Neil has expert-level technical knowledge of IFRS, iXBRL and other technical accounting issues.
Neil is the Managing Director of Neil Ellis Consulting Limited and is responsible for leading all client projects.
The Team
We have a small but experienced team of chartered accountants, all of whom have extensive experience as
audit managers in the Big 4 accountancy firms and as Finance Directors and accountants in industry, both in the UK and overseas.
We also have a dedicated administrative and IT support team, based in Bristol.
